Art Is Protest

In this exhibition Nino Vichan and Basu Kshitiz use art as a way of denouncing social issues, each one of them in a very different manner.

Nino, a well-known artist in SL for his installations, addresses a particular problem and shows you all the dramatic impact that violence has in real life. A social and racial fact that really happened, but that is not an isolated case. He has addressed the issue of violence several times in his works. Through its installation we immerse ourselves in a true story that he tells step by step using a 3D environment and his drawings.

Basu is a RL artist who exhibits his drawings in SL for the first time. Through irony he denounces, every day in his country's two newspapers, the deep deficiencies that exist in Nepal. Corruption, lack of water and electricity, poor teaching in the schools and all the problems of a small country which has also been hit by nature a few months ago.
